Water temp: 13 degrees
Still hanging on at 13 degrees. Grey, overcast morning, few patches of blue, we're gonna be alright. Time for some heroics, just getting in is an act of heroism. One breathtaking, dive later and I'm in, well it took my breath away, or that may have been the cold water. The shy old sun joins me for the first few lengths and I'm very glad that I made the effort. I'm beginning to accept early morning, autumn swimming as a normal, but minority, activity. As my sister said to me the other day: 'You mad lido person'.
Felt very much alive as I cycled off to work.
Here comes the weekend.
