Pinch and a punch... After all the excitement and adventure of Tenerife I resume my usual Saturday activities.
Another Parkrun out the way. I head to the ponds with a couple of Parkrunners. My gloved hands are already numb by the time I get there. Nevertheless I follow suit and dive from the springboard. I've been feeling rubbish all week and the cold water makes me feel alive again. I swim to the perimeter rope and back again.
My hands are still tingling hours later, my endorphins are having a house party.
